The Game Awards 2020: The Last of Us é jogo do ano e Among Us é premiado; veja vencedores

Premiação mais aguardada no ano pelos produtores de jogos eletrônicos e por fãs de videogame no mundo inteiro, o The Game Awards 2020 ocorreu na noite desta quinta-feira, 10, em transmissão pela internet. O evento elegeu os melhores jogos do ano, além de reconhecer os destaques dos eSports e revelar lançamentos no mercado dos games.

Sem surpresas, o grande destaque da premiação foi o jogo The Last of Us parte 2, desenvolvido pela Naughty Dog. A trama que continua a saga de Ellie e Joel em um universo contaminado por zumbis venceu em sete categorias, incluindo "melhor jogo", "melhor direção" e "melhor narrativa". A atriz Laura Bailey, que empresta a voz à personagem Abby, uma das principais do game, foi eleita a "melhor atuação".

Um dos fenômenos do ano, Among Us venceu "melhor multiplayer" e "melhor jogo mobile". A lista de indicados ainda contou com grandes obras, como Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Ghost of Tsushima, Doom Eternal, Hades e Genshin Impact.

Ainda, as continuações das franquias Dragon Age e Mass Effect foram anunciadas no evento. Fãs aguardavam ansiosamente por novidades em relação ao jogo Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA), da Rockstar, e repercutiram o assunto nas redes sociais, mas o anúncio não ocorreu.
